Class Tasks now more flexible than ever
We’ve made an important update to Class Tasks to give teachers even more control and convenience.
The Class Tasks feature allows Tassomai teachers to deliver the same quiz to every student.
Previously, all Class Tasks had to include a linked resource — like a Tassomai explainer video or a link to a BBC Bitesize article. Although we do have linked resources for most of our content, that meant you could only set a Class Task on certain content.
Now, you can create a Class Task on any topic — with or without a resource.
This makes it easier to set quick, focused tasks that match your scheme of work, and it opens up Class Tasks for Tassomai subjects that previously had limited resource-linked content like Modern Foreign Languages.
Why this matters:
No more restrictions — any Tassomai topic can now be used
Perfect for short assignments, revision, or in-lesson work
You can still include a resource when you want to, but it’s now optional
From the Class Tasks overview page on your Teacher Dashboard you can see whether Class Tasks are resourceless or if they come with a linked resource or a video (indicated by the link and play button icons).
