If your child gets Tassomai through school but you’re not really sure what it’s all about, here are 3 things you need to know…
When students use Tassomai they don’t need to worry about what to do next, the algorithm works that out for them. They just need to log in and start answering quiz questions, completing Daily Goals in each subject they use Tassomai for.
Most schools encourage learners to complete 4 Daily Goals a week in each of their active subjects.
Tassomai uses a technique known as retrieval practice. It involves frequent “low-stakes testing” with immediate feedback, and it’s proven to be the most effective way to embed and retain knowledge.
Tassomai’s little and often approach boosts confidence and makes the process of learning and revising less stressful.
Research shows that students of all abilities improve in their knowledge recall with Tassomai, and that this improvement increases with increased use of the software.
Schools regularly report significant improvement in average GCSE grades when they use Tassomai, with many students achieving much higher grades than predicted.
Students and parents can both use the Tassomai app (available on Apple and Android), or log in via the website.

When schools sign up to Tassomai, parents and guardians get a weekly email report and access to their own Parent Dashboard where they can follow their child’s progress.
We also invite them to join Parent Club, a growing community of parents keen to engage with their children’s learning.
Parent Club membership includes the option to boost a learner’s Tassomai account and get all the benefits of a private subscription (normally £44.99 / month at Y9-11) for a much lower price.
Parents can join Tassomai’s founder Murray and guests for varied sessions to support learning and revision.
Via the Parent Club tab on their Dashboards, parents can download our GCSE Survival Guides, subject specific Careers Guides and more.
Recordings of all our previous Live Lesson tutorial sessions (100+) are accessible to learners when parents are members of our Parent Club.
For £2.99 per month parents can add up to 10 Tassomai subjects (depending on their child’s year group), additional to the ones they get through their school’s package.
At GCSE level, Tassomai is available for: Science, English (language & literature), maths, geography, history, computer science, Latin, MFL vocabulary (French, Spanish & German).
For a further £3.99 a month, families can benefit from 24/7 help from Mai, our AI-powered tutor, on almost every quiz.
Mai is a great way for learners to get immediate help with their quizzes if they're stuck or don't understand part of the question.
Parents can also add Leapfrog Session quizzes in each of their child’s Tassomai subjects for £2.99 a month.
These quizzes are designed to target the topics where we have identified an opportunity for that individual learner to leap ahead of their peers and make significant progress.
Parents receive a follow up report summarising their child’s progress after completion of the weekly sessions.

They might not always want to do it, but keeping up with those Daily Goals really helps to embed knowledge.
Students who regularly use Tassomai feel the benefit when it comes to exam time.
Tassomai encourages independent learning but parents are also kept in the loop. Through the Parent Dashboard they can easily see what their child’s been doing and how their knowledge is growing.
The Tree is an interactive tool on student and parent dashboards that helps with identifying knowledge gaps. Students have Tassomai Trees for each active subject. When they use Tassomai, their knowledge grows and so do their trees.
Parents can keep a discreet eye on progress or get more involved and use the Tree to make a study plan with their child.
Each school uses Tassomai differently, but most schools set Daily Goals for each Tassomai subject, often as homework.
The Parent Dashboard shows how many Daily Goals have been completed and in which subjects. Parents can also see a list of learning resources (videos or articles) recommended specifically for their child to aid progress.
School parents can control their account settings and purchase optional upgrade subscriptions from within their dashboard.
Note that for GDPR reasons, school parents must first opt in to receive “email updates news and offers” via Manage / Settings on their Parent Dashboard before we can display upgrade options.

Speak to your child’s teachers or contact our admin team and we’ll set you up with progress reports and access to your Parent Dashboard.
Note you’ll need to opt in to receive “offers and updates” from Tassomai when you first open your dashboard or via your account settings in Manage / Settings.
If you receive our weekly progress report emails, you can click the green button for instant access to your Parent Dashboard (no password needed). You can set a password once you are in your dashboard for future access. Note that you can also click here to request a password reset. You’ll need to use the email address that your weekly progress reports are sent to.
Parents can also access their dashboards via the Tassomai mobile app, available on Apple and Android. Log in to the app with your your email address and password.
If you’ve never received a weekly progress report, contact our admin team on 020 3380 7968 or email admin@tassomai.com to get set up.
For GDPR reasons you’ll need to have explicitly opted-in to receive updates and offers from Tassomai for us to display upgrade options on your Parent Dashboard or for us to mention it in your weekly progress report email. If you aren’t seeing the upgrade options, go to Manage / Settings in your Parent Dashboard and change your communications preferences. When you opt in you’ll automatically become a member of our Parent Club and you’ll see additional content on your Parent Dashboard.
