If your child gets Tassomai through their school, here’s what you need to know…
What is Tassomai?
Tassomai is a leading edtech (education technology) program that helps students learn and revise more effectively.
The program combines multiple choice quizzes, short tutorial videos and links to external learning resources all tailored to your child’s individual learning needs by Tassomai’s adaptive algorithm.
Tassomai is used by more than 500 schools and is proven to embed core subject knowledge and boost confidence in learners.

How is my child’s school using Tassomai?
Each school uses Tassomai in its own unique way. Some schools set Tassomai tasks as homework for certain subjects, others might encourage Tassomai use during school time.
Tassomai is typically used to support the teaching of one or more core subjects (sciences, maths and English), and the program has recently expanded to cover history, geography and computer science.
Most students prefer to access Tassomai through the Tassomai app (available on Apple and Android), but it’s also accessible from any internet browser. Look for the Sign In button on the Tassomai website at www.tassomai.com.
How can parents and guardians get involved?
When a school uses Tassomai, parents and guardians are usually set up as “account overseers”. With the schools permission we send the account overseers a weekly progress report email every Monday morning.
The email includes a personalised link (the big blue button) that takes overseers straight through to their personal online “Parent Dashboard” where they can see how their learner is getting on with their Tassomai goals.
The Parent Dashboard shows how many Daily Goals have been completed and which topics a learner is struggling with, it also includes some personalised links to relevant resources to help the learner with their studies.

Dive deeper with the Tree
The Tassomai Tree is a visual representation of a student’s learning on Tassomai.
Students, their teachers and their parents can all view a learner’s tree. It’s a great way to see what topics have been studied and how a learner’s understanding of them is evolving.

Parents can use the Tassomai app too
Our app isn’t just for learners. Parents can download the same app and access their Parent Dashboard to view a student’s progress and to look through their Trees.
To access the app:
Download the app to your device from Apple’s App Store or the Google Play Store.
Sign in to the app with your email address and password
The email address will be the same one that your learner’s weekly progress report is sent to.

Join our Parent Club for more updates and offers
Parents who get Tassomai through a school can also opt-in to hear more from us by joining our Parent Club (this is in addition to receiving the weekly progress report).
If you’re a school parent, you’ll have the opportunity to opt-in when you first open your parent dashboard. You’ll also be able to change your communication preferences at any time via the Accounts / Settings section of your dashboard.
Parents who are opted-in to Parent Club emails can boost their learner’s account and access all the benefits available to Tassomai’s private subscribers for a fraction of the price. This includes the option to add any of the Tassomai subjects that their child doesn’t get through school for a heavily discounted monthly fee and to add our new Leapfrog Sessions. They can also add unlimited help from Mai, our AI-powered tutor.
FAQs
Q. My child gets Tassomai through their school but I don’t receive progress reports, why not?
A. Not all schools have set up progress reports yet, please contact your child’s school and ask them to get parent reports set up. Also please check your junk / spam folder just in case our emails have ended up there.
Q. What if I don’t want to receive progress reports or to have an Overseer Account?
A. If you’d prefer not to receive progress reports please unsubscribe from the link at the bottom of the first report you receive. Note that our emails will always include an “unsubscribe” link should wish to stop receiving our emails. If you would prefer us to delete your account then please get in touch via admin@tassomai.com.
Q. Can I add extra subjects that aren’t included in my child’s school package?
A. Yes, you can do this by going to the “subscriptions page” when you’re logged into your parent dashboard, but note that you will need to pay a monthly subscription fee for additional subjects. You can either do this at the standard private subscriber price, or if you have opted in to receive updates and offers from Tassomai you should see the option to add Extra Subjects to your child’s account. This gives you the same benefits as a private subscriber for a fraction of the price. Note that this option is only available to parents whose children get Tassomai through their school and is only available whilst the school is signed up to Tassomai. Q. I have another child that doesn’t get Tassomai through their school, can I get them an account?
A. Yes, you will need to set up a private subscription but if you contact our team we might be able to give you a discount code to help with the cost.
