Our Customer Success Team have been offering Tassomai teachers a sneak peak at the new dashboard over the last couple of weeks and had some very positive feedback.

The updated Teacher Dashboard lets teachers access more data than ever before and an improved navigation and search function makes it easier to find what you are looking for.

  • By default all data displayed now relates to the current week’s activity, with the previous week available as another preset option, to make it easier to keep track of what your students have been up to.

  • A new overview screen categorises all your students by their daily goal activity so it’s really simple to see who has been doing their work.

  • Individual student views have been brought in line with exactly what the student sees to help improve communication.

FAQs

Q. When will the new Teacher Dashboard be launched?

A. We are putting these changes live on Wednesday 15th December.

Q. How do I access my Teacher Dashboard?

A. Click on the Sign In button in the top right hand corner of the Tassomai website. You can also click here to to go straight to the Sign In page.

Q. Where has the ‘Progress’ metric gone?

A. We have renamed this 'Course Completion' as this is a better indicator of what this metric means. We have removed 'change in course completion' from the data tables as we don't think this is a very useful one to focus on in a day-to-day setting but you can still find it on your Data Drops if you have these set up.

Q. Why does Tassomai warn teachers against overuse of the content / playlist control function?

A. We know that teachers sometimes like to control the content that their students can see to support homework setting, however restricting the content too much negates the positive effects of interleaving and scaffolding that Tassomai provides. It’s also important to remember that content does not re-activate automatically, so anything that’s turned off by a teacher needs to be turned back on at a later date. Update: 11.01.22

We had some very helpful comments following the launch of the new dashboard and we have incorporated this teacher feedback into the latest release.

  • An ‘All School’ view has been added so it is possible to see all students in a school at once

  • The Daily Goals table on the overview is now alphabetised
