This is an old blog post

Following the success of our Live Lessons trial over the Easter break in April, we are delighted to announce that we will be extending our series of Live Lessons to run throughout the May revision period!

The Tassomai team put together a 3 week Live Lesson trial over the Easter holidays, bringing together expert teachers from Tassomai schools and students looking to revise topics across all 3 core subjects. The timetable was scheduled based on the topics that students struggled with most according to Tassomai data. We were able to use this data to target the areas we thought would best help the majority of students.

More sessions this May!

There will be another 12 revision sessions with Tassomai teachers from across the country running lessons on 6 core subjects:

  • Biology

  • Chemistry

  • Physics

  • English Literature

  • English Language

  • Maths

To find out more about Live Lessons and register for our upcoming sessions, visit our dedicated page here.

The new series of lessons will include exam technique sessions and skill sharpening lessons on the top 3 topics to revise a few days before the exam. We hope that this selection of targeted, timely live lessons with expert teachers will give students the confidence they need going into their exams this summer.

Timings

Throughout the Easter holidays, we ran Live Lessons from 4-4.45pm, but after listening to teacher feedback about what would work best during term time, our next series of lessons will be run from 5-5.45pm to allow students and teachers alike to get home from school and ready for a new revision session.

Parent Reports

Don't forget to get parents at your school set up with our weekly progress report emails to make sure they're first to hear about upcoming Live Lessons. This is the easiest way to keep parents and students in the loop about these sessions and a great way to engage parents in your students’ Tassomai progress!

User Feedback

We’ve had some great feedback on the first Live Lesson trial from the teachers who took part in hosting them but also from the students and parents who benefited from them the most:
